Elmwood is in a prime position in a quiet residential conservation area of Pitlochry. The Theatre, Atholl Palace Hotel, Dam and Fish Ladder, Blair Atholl Distillery and golf course are within easy walking distance. For those wishing to dine in the town, a car would not be necessary.

Directions on arrival
We are situated half way along Lower Oakfield. The back of the house faces the road: look for our white sign at the gates (not visible from the south until the last minute). Our guests find that reversing into the drive works well, with cars parked alongside the boundary wall.
The main route (A9) bypasses the town, there is a mainline station with London sleeper services and there is a regular bus service to Inverness, Perth, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Edinburgh airport is 90 minutes drive, Glasgow is about 2 hours. St Andrews (Open Championship Course) is 1 hour 30 minutes away.
For those arriving by rail or bus, we would be happy to collect you on your arrival.
